Western Isles Community Care Forum (WICCF)  is the ‘umbrella’ group of the Voluntary sector, comprising of representatives from the voluntary care providers in the Western Isles. 

Its principal aim is to work with statutory and voluntary health and social care providers to maximise resources for vulnerable groups and to ensure that the voluntary sector has a voice in the planning and delivery of services.

We support groups by serving on their committees and representing them on statutory groups eg. Older Peoples Partnership, Local Planning Groups, Adult & Child Protection and Carers Strategy, Community Health & Social care Partnership. Counselling and Family Mediation, and Advocacy.

WICCF keeps a register of Carers and compiles a Directory of Voluntary Services, which is available, free of charge. 

A newsletter is produced quarterly to keep Carers and users in touch with what is going on and informing them of articles which may be of interest to them.
